Sakura Itinerary

Japan is at its most beautiful in sakura season when its iconic landmarks are framed with pretty pink petals.

This itinerary maximises the fleeting sakura season, incorporating the best hanami (cherry blossom viewing) locations in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara and around Mt. Fuji as well as some other quintessentially Japanese experiences, such as enjoying private noh, kabuki and geisha performances, staying in a ryokan inn overlooking Fuji, designing a seasonal kimono, making your own knife and learning the basics of wielding a katana with the precision of a samurai.

This itinerary features some exclusive experiences that only Luxurique can offer, including a private viewing of one of Japan’s most important temples, Kiyomizudera, in which you will be hosted by the head monk who will take you to parts of the temple that are off-limits to the public. You’ll also get the chance to visit Tokyo’s famous tuna auction with a top sushi chef who will then prepare your dinner.
