Travel and Hospitality Delivery Manager

Reports to the Luxurique Chief Operating Office and CEO : The Travel and Hospitality Delivery Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Luxurique’s Service and Project delivery across the Luxurique portfolio of services. Major Responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Customer Project Sales phase: Work with Sales and the Customer to support requirements data gathering and the creation of best-in-class Travel and Hospitality event/trip itineraries/plans, and Sales proposals including pricing.

  • Customer Project Preparation phase: Working with partners, suppliers and internal teams Manage the detailed preparation of customer Travel itineraries and events/programs

  • Customer Project Execution phase: Manage efficient project execution of Luxurique’s Travel and Hospitality delivery projects to time/budget and to achieve superior Customer Satisfaction

  • Workload Management: Organize and manage the team and workload of the Travel and Hospitality Delivery team to ensure all project deadlines and obligations are met

  • Organisation and Team: Manage, motivate, develop, and lead the Travel and Event Service delivery organisation and team to deliver department objectives

  • Operational Processes and Systems: Maintain and continually improve operational processes/systems which support and efficient Travel and Hospitality Delivery function

With critical emphasis and focus on: On-time and quality Itinerary Production, Customer Satisfaction, Service Excellence and Project delivery quality

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • General leadership: Represent the company at senior management level to drive the required company results through personal and team contribution

  • Customer engagement: Engage Customers with effective Customer Care and Relationship skills

  • Projects and service delivery: Project management to project objectives, deadlines, and budgets

  • Supporting new sales and bids: Solution and construct high quality, low risk Itineraries and programs that support high win-rate sales

  • Team management and staffing: Lead the team managing and assigning workloads, maintain the required skills and resource levels for success

  • Service excellence: Create, monitor, and manage service quality metrics to ensure delivery of Travel and Event projects/services to expected quality levels

  • Financials/Budgeting: Maintain functional budgets, track and manage spending

  • Data management and security: Maintain and keep secure organized function related data

  • New product development: Work with product team to improve and develop new travel products

  • Reporting and Communication: Accurate and timely reporting of functional performance : project/service quality/budgets/people

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:
 

  • Minimum 5 years work experience - required

  • Experience leading and managing teams - required

  • Experience in Travel related Sales, Itinerary/plan production and Events delivery. Travel or Event industry experience in the Hospitality sector – preferred

  • Experience of interfacing and communicating with Customers - required

  • Experience of leading Projects and service delivery - required

  • Experience and proficiency in producing reports and presentations - required

  • Use of MS Presentation, XL and Word packages - required

Education:

 

  • Native Japanese, minimum Business English with over 800pt for TOEIC or equivalent

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree
