NECESSARY SKILLSET
  • Fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken) 

  • Business-level English (a TOEIC score of more than 720-30pt or equivalent)

  • In-depth knowledge of Japanese business culture and practices

  • Experience working in Japan or with Japanese clients

  • A degree from a Japanese university or equivalent experience 

  • Good communication; ability to build relationships with guests and work well in a team

  • Creativity and coordination

  • Attention to detail, logical thinking, problem-solving skills and planning capabilities

  • Understanding high-value traveller expectations, the guest experience and improving guest satisfaction

Luxurique Inc. is looking for passionate individuals, from management to trainees, to join our inbound hospitality and events teams in our Tokyo and Kyoto offices.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The positions report to our Travel and Hospitality Manager and Event Management.

  • In these crucial roles, our planners and coordinators’ primary responsibilities will:

  • Work with our team to create, design, and present proposals to our guests

  • Work closely with our partner suppliers in detailed planning and production of event programs and travel activities to ensure projects are ready to go on the start date

  • Manage and coordinate the timely and flawless execution of events and travel projects

  • Provide focus on the high-quality and timely itinerary/event production ensuring guest satisfaction, service excellence, and project delivery

QUALIFICATIONS

We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Are passionate about Japan’s travel industry, culture, history, and arts

  • Are excited to share Japan’s treasures with international guests

  • Are organised, detail-oriented, pro-active thinkers who thrive under pressure

  • Have fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken) and business-level English​

Experience Requirement for Senior Roles

Minimum of three years of work experience in the travel or events industries with specific experience within the hospitality sector or in travel-related sales, producing complex itineraries/trip planning and managing guest trips/ event execution.

Education:​

  • Business-level English (a TOEIC score of more than 720-30pt or equivalent)

  • A degree from a Japanese university or equivalent experience
