Reports and works under the supervision of the Luxurique Travel and Hospitality Delivery Manager: The Travel and Hospitality Planner/Coordinator will be part of the Delivery Team working on interesting and unique Travel and Event related projects. The role will be involved in all aspects of Luxurique’s Service and Project delivery across the Luxurique portfolio of services. Major Responsibilities of the role are to:

Customer Project Sales phase: Work with management and the Luxurique Sales team in interfacing with potential Customers to gather trip/event requirements and help to design and create best-in-class Travel and Hospitality event/trip itineraries and plans, plus Sales creation of proposals including pricing.

Customer Project Preparation phase: Work with management and partners, suppliers and internal teams to perform the detailed planning, and project preparation of customer Travel itineraries and events.

Customer Project Execution phase: Work with management and the project execution team, suppliers and customers to coordinate the efficient delivery and execution of travel/event delivery projects to meet/exceed deadlines/budgets and to Customer Satisfaction goals.

Workload Focus: Work with teammates to flexibly share workloads for the Travel and
Hospitality Delivery team to ensure project deadlines and obligations are met. -
Teamwork: Work effectively as a team member with good communication and
a helpful attitude -
Operational Processes and Systems: Maintain and continually improve operational processes/systems which support and efficient Travel and Hospitality Delivery function

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer engagement: Engage Customers with effective Customer Care and Relationship skills

Projects and service delivery: Project management coordination to project objectives,
deadlines, and budgets -
Supporting new sales and bids: Design and construct high quality, low-risk Itineraries and
programs that support high win-rate sales -
Workload/Teamwork: Flexibility and team working to achieve the department's goals

Service excellence: Perform assigned tasks and roles to ensure delivery of service
quality metrics to ensure delivery of Travel and Event projects/services -
Financials/Budgeting: Where required perform budget and spend tracking

Data management and security: Ensure all data security instructions and responsibilities are followed

New product development: Work with the product team to input ideas and on-the-ground
experience to help improve and develop new travel products -
Reporting and Communication: As required, collect data, provide input and status updates to reporting of functional performance for project/service quality/budgets/people
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years work experience - required
-
Experience in Travel or Event planning, Itinerary/plan production and Event execution
coordination - preferred. Travel or Event industry experience in the Hospitality sector –
preferred -
Experience of interfacing and communicating with Customers - preferred

Experience of performing key role in Projects and service delivery - preferred

Experience and proficiency in producing reports and presentations - preferred

Use of MS Presentation, XL and Word packages - required

Education:

Native Japanese, minimum Business English with over 800pt for TOEIC or equivalent
